Cross-Country Lesson

  Gillian offers lessons in eventing, dressage and show jumping.  She is happy to work with riders from the pre-beginner novice to preliminary levels. She is particularly skilled with dealing with anxious riders, sensitive horses and mares.

Her dressage teaching is based on the French/Portuguese style. (She has taken lessons with Stephanie Millham for 17 years. Stephanie studied extensively with Nuno Oliveira in Portugal).

Her jumping teaching focuses on the skills required for safe cross-country riding. (She has taken lessons with Jim Wofford for 12 years).

Gillian is also available for cross-country schooling sessions and course walks.

Gillian is also now accepting a select number of dressage, event, and show jumping performance horses for training at Quarternote Farm.  Gillian also takes horses for "breaking" (starting of young horses).
